All of our furniture is handmade using solid timber including the back and the bases of the drawers. 

Other sizes and styles are available; please email us with your questions.  Oak, Beech, Ash, Cherry, Iroko, Walnut, Slate and Granite worktops are also available at an increased price, please ask for a quote. The base is 740mm wide without the top on which will fit through most doorways. Please check the size of your doorways before ordering.

 

The Medium Door and Pan Shelf Kitchen Island Unit.

Solid Pine Four Door Kitchen Island Unit. Handmade Using Sustainable Timber. 

Our painted furniture can be painted in your choice of colour from the Farrow and Ball, Little Greene Paint company or Fired Earth ranges. Pine tops can be waxed with top quality Bri-wax to obtain a high sheen which will improve with age to create a strong patina. Alternatively a wax-oil hard wearing finish can be used which is waterproof and durable and therefore requires less maintence than wax. This finish does not share the same warm characteristics as natural wax. . For other hardwood tops we recommend wax-oil only as the finish brings out the characteristics of these timbers, please email us for a quotation..

This Island has a pair of doors on both long sides of the unit giving access from either side: There is an adjustable shelf in the middle.    The slatted shelf on the bottom at one end is for displaying and storing large items. 

 

This unit was painted in 'Bone' with dark stained and waxed top, shelf and knobs.

The Medium Drawer and Door Kitchen Island Unit

Solid Pine Six Drawer Kitchen Island Unit. Handmade Using Sustainable Timber. 

 This Island has six graduated drawers, three on each side and six drawers, three on each side.

The slatted shelf on the bottom at one end is for displaying and storing large items.  The top is longer this end and designed so that you could sit on a stool at the island with plenty of leg room.
