We offer a range of kitchen sink, wall, base and larder units for you to select and create your own traditional kitchen from. All of our kitchen furniture is solidly made from sustainable timber and made traditionally with dovetail joints and morticed and tenoned legs.
We can paint the free-standing kitchen furniture in any Farrow and Ball, Little Greene Paint Company or Fired Earth colour of your choice.
Traditional farmhouse kitchens of this style allow you the freedom to move and redesign your kitchen as necessary as well as giving you the option of taking it with you to another house. This style of kitchen also allows you to build up your units over time, spreading the cost of a major re-fit.
Our free standing units are completely made from timber and do not have adjustable feet or integral appliances.
We can offer a range of worktops, cherry, iroko, oak, walnut and beech as well as granite and slate as shown below.
Our bespoke service means that we can make units to your sizes and colour, even including the kitchen sink and taps of your choice. If you need some help in planning your kitchen email us your requirements and a rough plan sketch of your measured kitchen.
Over the past few years our experience and range of kitchen furniture has grown and we cannot show the vast array of images we have. If there is something of particular interest we can email you a selection of images. Most of the units we make can be delivered by the pallet service, however if you order a full kitchen it often becomes more economical for us to deliver ourselves. If you provide us with your postcode we can work out the delivery cost
Below are some images of a kitchen with slate worktops, painted in House White Farrow and Ball. The customer selected ceramic knobs at extra cost over the standard wooden beech knobs. The cottage having low ceilings needed reduced height Wall units.

The sink units a range of Belfast sinks and 40mm hardwood tops or 25mm slate / granite tops with drainage grooves machined to the left or right hand side of the sink.
Our freestanding kitchen sink unit doors are made with a square moulded frame and a raised fielded panel. There is an adjustable shelf in the middle of the door sections. The sides have the same moulded panels as the doors. The back, which will be against a wall, is tongue and groove boards. The cupboard below the sink is left free of shelves to allow for the waste to be plumbed in.
The base is 650mm wide with the top on, which will fit through most doorways. Please check the size of your doorways before ordering. The top can easily be unscrewed.
The 40mm wooden worktops and door knobs are given three coats of a liquid wax oil; this gives a waterproof and hard wearing finish.

The price for this 1850mm wide sink unit with a slate top is £1320 and the price for the unit with the stainless steel Belfast sink and Iroko top is £1230.

The sink units a range of Belfast sinks and 40mm hardwood tops or 25mm slate / granite tops with drainage grooves machined to the left or right hand side of the sink.
The worktop overhangs to allow a washing machine or dishwasher to be placed next to the sink to share the waste water outlet. A metal heatshield is under the worktop to protect it from the heat generated by the appliance below. The overhang could be on the other side. The top would need to fixed to the wall with brackets and screws.
