Free-Standing Base Unit

Handmade using sustainable timber, our free-standing kitchen base units can be customised to have your chosen combination of doors and/or graduated drawers. These painted units in Farrow and Ball, Little Greene Paint Company or Fired Earth Paint, come in the following dimensions:

  • 925mm high
  • Various mm wide
  • 650mm deep

The doors are made with a square moulded frame and a raised fielded panel. There is an adjustable shelf in the middle of the door sections. The sides have the same moulded panels like the doors. The back, which will be against a wall, is tongue and groove boards. The prices for these base units vary due to size, worktop, handles, knobs, etc. Please email us for a quotation and include your postcode for a delivery price. Contact our team for further details. Take a look at our gallery page to see some of our most recent work.

The Corner Unit Solution

Corner units are tricky to work with. As our units are made in one single constructed piece, a corner unit would be too large to fit through doorways or deliver to the home. We have come up with a couple of solutions to utilise the space in the corner of a kitchen.

Base units with doors have a blank panel in the end which goes into the corner, with the other unit meeting it at 90 degrees. Slate, granite and timber tops can all pile up against each other in the corners as can be seen below.
